"American Martial Arts Academy has made a huge impact on my child. My daughter is 9 years old and has been attending AMAA for the past 5 1/2 months, over the months I have seen many changes in her attitude, academic ability, physical discipline, respect for herself and her self-confidence has hit new exciting levels. She had enough confidence after being enrolled for two months to attend a tournament and spar. When she got there, shee found that she had no one in her rank to fight and would have to fight two ranks above herself. At first she was scared and cried, but two of her Sensei's took time away from their own events to help her find her inner strength. She walked away that day with a gold first place trophy and a whole lot more.
The Sensei's at AMAA are the greatest group of teachers, mentors, positive role models, and even more I consider them friends. The take time to get to know every child and guide them according to the needs of the child, no one gets left behind. Each and every Sensei is very easy to talk with and is always ready with an encouraging word or helpful solution. I could not imagine my child working with a better group of individuals. Attending American Martial Arts Academy has become a way of life for me and my child. The decision for her to take Karate with The Sensei's at AMAA is one that I will never regret.
